4th of July Americana — Hit the Stores for Deals!

Shaun Myrick Design Window Display 4th of July

If you don’t have time to make your own decorations, or if you want to add to your DIY collection, here are some of my favorites. I really enjoy shopping for holiday décor a few days in advance of any given holiday (or right after). If you shop after a holiday, the selection might be picked over the prices are always great! You just have to have patience and wait for next year. The reward is that you’ll have brand new décor without spending any money. Happy 4th of July!

I love all of the Peanuts Americana decorations at Target. Head over to Target and check out these holiday decorations — they are good quality and so they’ll last for years to come. I loved Snoopy as a kid and still do. One of my favorite stops when I’m in Northern California is the Charles M. Schulz Museum.

Pier 1 always has a few nice holiday decorations too, and this year they haven’t disappointed. I thought some of the prices were high — like $20 for a flag placemat.

I loved these party props, perfect for selfie taking!

For kids I thought these Bomb glasses were great, they bring the firework festivities to your drink!

Cost Plus World Market always has great holiday décor at very reasonable prices, and this year is no exception.

I love the classic bunting and you get a 2 pack for $20.

These wooden utensils are great for outdoor parties and picnics.

It’s fun to bring holiday décor into the living room too and I like these flag pillows.
